Jim Wilson – President
Jim Wilson began Matrix Industrial Control Systems in 1977 and continues owning and operating it to this day. Before starting Matrix, Jim received a degree in mechanical engineering and served an apprenticeship for W&T Avery, Ltd. Jim manages the overall direction of Matrix and oversees all sales and marketing activities. He has built many strong relationships with our customers because of his strong business acumen and uncompromising belief in the highest levels of customer service.
Carrie Witor – General Manager
Carrie works closely with our clients to ensure that their systems are delivering the highest degree of value possible. She collaborates closely with Matrix sales, software and hardware teams to make sure all of our projects are delivered on time. Carrie joined Matrix after earning a degree in computer programming and has served in a number of roles. She has great relationships with many of our clients, who know she’s only a phone call away and always ready to help!
Frank Tata – Manager Of Program Development
Frank brings a high level of domain expertise and a background in software development. Leading our technical software team, he ensures that our software solutions are evolving with technology standards and that our programmers are using the best techniques and tools. Frank oversees our software architecture and functional enhancements. He’s always in touch with our customers finding out what features and functions they need to ensure our solutions are continually evolving to meet their ever-changing needs!
Freddy Mortensen – President, Matrix Consulting
After a long and illustrious career at Plumrose USA, Freddy joined Matrix to head up the consulting services division. While at Plumrose, Freddy served as the Senior VP of Production, overseeing production across five facilities. While at Plumrose, Freddy oversaw the design and construction of two brand new production facilities and introduced many technologies and processes that increased throughput and improved yields. In 2013, Freddy was named Meat & Poultry Magazine’s Operations Executive of the Year!
Steve Hartley – Sales & Marketing Consultant
Steve joined Matrix while working towards an electrical engineering degree. He began by programming, configuring and installing systems at customers across North America. Upon graduation, he rejoined Matrix on a permanent basis, working on the sales and marketing team to secure several national accounts. Today, Steve brings his expertise and experience during the pre-sales and system specification phases of our projects.
