Introducing the 7th Generation Matrix Industrial Computer
Built for Performance, Designed for Continuity
For over a decade, Matrix Controls has delivered dependable industrial computing solutions that power automation, monitoring, and control systems across many industries.
Now, we are proud to introduce the 7th Generation Matrix Industrial Computer — a platform that combines modern performance with the proven reliability and compatibility our customers expect.
Modern Power Meets Proven Design
At the core of the new system is Intel’s 14th Generation Core i3-14100 CPU.
This processor delivers a major increase in performance for industrial workloads, automation logic, and edge computing applications while maintaining excellent energy efficiency and long-term reliability.
Additionally, the system includes:
- 16 GB DDR5-5600 memory
- 500 GB Kingston SNV3S NVMe storage
Together, these components provide fast data throughput. As a result, the platform delivers responsive system performance for real-time control, monitoring, and data analysis applications.
Industrial-Grade Hardware for AI and Automation
The platform uses an Intel H610 Raptor Lake Mini-ITX motherboard with dual LAN and TPM 2.0.
Matrix Controls designed this platform specifically for industrial and embedded environments.
The system also supports Intel 13th Generation processors with built-in AI accelerators. Because of this, manufacturers can deploy next-generation AIoT gateway and edge intelligence applications more effectively.
For visualization and operator interfaces, the platform supports triple-display output through:
- HDMI
- DisplayPort
- VGA
- eDP/LVDS
This flexibility makes the system ideal for modern industrial control environments.
Flexible Connectivity for Industrial Environments
The 7th Generation Matrix Industrial Computer supports both modern networking and legacy industrial hardware.
Connectivity options include:
- 2.5 GbE LAN
- 1 GbE LAN
- M.2 2230 slot for Wi-Fi
- Multiple serial COM ports
Thanks to this combination of interfaces, manufacturers can integrate the system easily into both existing infrastructure and modern networked environments.
Quiet, Cool, and Reliable
Efficient thermal management helps the system maintain reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
Meanwhile, the low-profile cooling solution delivers excellent heat dissipation while keeping noise levels low.
As a result, the platform provides stable long-term operation without adding unnecessary noise or bulk to the installation.
Drop-In Compatibility Since 2013
Continuity has always been a core part of the Matrix Controls design philosophy.
The 7th Generation Matrix Industrial Computer retains the same physical footprint as every Matrix system released since 2013.
Customers can therefore upgrade existing installations without redesigning enclosures or modifying cabinet layouts.
That means:
- No redesigns
- No unnecessary downtime
- No hidden upgrade costs
Ultimately, customers gain a simple path to modern industrial computing performance.
Built for Long-Term Industrial Use
Matrix Controls selects every component for durability, longevity, and long-term availability.
Whether deployed in manufacturing facilities, control cabinets, or remote edge environments, the system is engineered to deliver reliable industrial performance for years to come.
